1930 Vegaphone Professional Plectrum Banjo
Purchased On 03/02/1995. Refinished by myself with natural lacquer. The neck is made from Mahogany with "heal" carving. The carving is as sharp as the day it was made! The resonator is a "pie sectioned" curly maple.
The peghead was so yellow from age you could hardly see the "mother of pearl"!
These are the original "Grover" tuners.
The "shell" assembly has the standard 28 hooks and a "Tubaphone" tone ring. The "Flange" is nickel plated.
"Vega" standard engraved tailpiece
The "pie"sectioned curly maple resonator has "Tortoise" shell edge banding and fastens to the "Rim Siick" with a screw type attachment.
"Vega" logo inside of resonator
Standard Nickel plated 4 piece "Flange"
Standard "Vega" arm rest
